Mixed media paintings.

A project I started with ages ago morphed into four mixed media paintings. Actually, two paintings, but each can be turned around to reveal another work at the back. It is part of the series called Matters of the Heart, which includes two etchings and a zine.

Experimenting with mathematical symbols - and pairing them. Not sure what this will become - an artist's book? It needs words ... needs mulling over somewhat ... we'll see ...

More new acquisitions.

These lovely small ink and water colour paintings are by Andrew Sutherland. They were part of his exhibition Other Dust at Salon 91. They are postcard sized and were painted by the artist in Taiwan, and then sent through the post to the gallery.

A zine - at last ...

I have joined a group of friends to make zines - we meet once or twice a month. So eventually (6 years after my original intention!) I have just finished my first zine, called Matters of the Heart. Some of the pages:
