Even in the midst of a Serious Editing Project there is always time for a visit to the car boot sale.
A small Japanese-style teapot with two tea cups. Perfect for jasmine tea.
Some old envelopes with stamps for collage projects. And a few reels of cotton thread. For who knows what.
Only when I got home and unpacked my purchases did I realize that there was a subconscious selection of colours going on. Isn't it fascinating how the brain stores information without you realizing it, and manipulates you secretly to use the information that you were not even aware of?

I see what you mean with the colours. All good purchases-the little tea pot and cups is lovely. I bought a lovely chinese teapot the other day in a charity shop-dark green mat pottery with a dragon handle and yellow ochre writing for decoration. It has a little loop of china through the handle-it is really lovely and was only one pound!
Hope the editing is going well!
Yes, I noticed how well coordinated your colors were as well. You have a decorator's eye. If you ever get tired of editing you could go into the business of telling other people what they should like.
Hope your work is going well. I love the little teapot!!
The colour combo is splendid- Leenie is correct as usual- you could be getting paid to tell people what to like and how to choose lovely things- I am sure there is a job like that. It would be so much more fun than making marks on a manuscript...Snous is the cutest little girl in the universe- Dexter desires to sniff her alot. Her picture is his fave!
Yes, beautiful rich colours - my favourites. My family buy our Christmas presents for each other from charity shops and I end up buying more for myself. I just can't resist it!
love the colour theme of your treasures!
i find that often times are coloured in a specific hue- dont know if its my brain or my state, or simply a thing about the particular time.
Not to mention how l'Usband's brain is manipulated by La Blogeuse ...
