Trees.

We went to an exhibition (well, actually, three) at the SA National Gallery on Sunday. How pleasant to stroll through the Company Gardens afterwards. I haven't done that for a long time. Here are some trees for you - a quiver tree, a cypress and a ficus.

Have a great week, dear friends. Hug a tree.

Oh My! I showed your ficus to our ficus -now it is shamed ...hiding in the corner all droopy- it lacks sunshine you see and can not grow beyond the twig that it is. I will bring it to you...I would send it on it's own but I do not trust that it would find it's way - after all we are separated by several inches... my map says 21" to be exact and the last time I saw my ficus move by itself even one inch was...never.

Yes, your ficus would shame my ficus too. Those are ALL very, very amazing and unusual trees to my eyes.

I love the name 'Quiver Tree'-does it quiver? And yes-our ficus feels a bit small, but is quite a proud ficus anyway as it actually did grow from an unloved twig that Andy spotted in our new back yard-abandoned-and watered. It is about 3'high now!
