This is what I did this weekend - made a cushion cover from cotton off-cuts and doilies salvaged from the car boot sale. (I also ate a huge and sumptuous Valentine's breakfast cooked by L'Usband.)
What did you do?
Stuart came to visit Friday/Saturday, so we went out for breakfast Saturday morning. Sunday I made a special Valentine's breakfast, and Malcolm made dinner - altogether a great weekend!!
And I so appreciate all these surprises and treats you have in store for us on your blog, Anairam.
Shane came by and cooked the most DELICIOUS prawn lunch while I baked bread and prepared dessert outside on the lawn under the sky, beside the sleeping Dragon (this awesome mountain that's in the back garden in Betty's).
It was quite a special day (well, this was Satuday, since I have no idea what day of the week it is anymore!).
i love monochromatic layered textures. hmmm, on sunday, i sewed a one-armed doll to hang from a dresser drawer knob, and graciously received a homemade gift from my daughter. :)
I *LOVE* it :) Thanks for sharing this because I was planning to start drawing a new series of doilies!! I went to IKEA... *PERFECT* Valentine's day :)
Great thing to have made in a weekend - gorgeous! I love those doilies and wish now I'd kept all the ones I was given by my grandmother to make into cushion covers. And bravo to l'usband - breakfast is a real meal of love to prepare!
Mine was not the most fun weekend (worked most of it) but it was not the worst. Just kinda nondescript. Nothing pretty to show for it. Or a huge and sumptous breakfast. Oh well, there's always next year... ;)
So pretty! We had to celebrate Valentines day a few days early due to babysitting schedules, but we went to a super yummy Brazilian restaurant for dinner. It was fun!

So glad you saved these - they made a great pillow.
I was working Sunday. Hm. Not very romantic
Your hands and imagination are magic. Hope L'Usband appreciates.
a man who can cook is indeed worthy of being a Valentine...I went for a walk- I took you and Snous with me...
three cheers to l'usband for the breakfast, and the same to you for this gorgeous cover!
LOVELY!!!!
