Freedom

Today we celebrate Freedom Day. And although the flag appears a bit tattered, it is still flying strong and we have much to celebrate and be thankful for in our great country.

I will be ducking off to Hermanus to be with my family. A bit of freedom from work. But back tomorrow to the slavery of my editing project.

Wish I was there in sunny Hermanus! Drizzling the past 5 days here! Raise a glass of vino
to me, I will tonight when I can enjoy Freedom from my 2 fourlegged
grandkids who visited for 5 days!
Beautiful colourful Freedom pic!

damn- I thought you were celebrating freedom from -words and punctuation...I am disapointed.
My last three or four posts may take you away for a little breather on Orcas- there are very few words there...
Cheers, have a great time away even if it is too brief.

Thanks for the bit of history of your country. We sometimes think we are the only ones with holidays to celebrate. Unusal flag.

Yes, Linda Sue is posting gorgeous pictures of woodsy Orcas Island.

Have a good vacation!
