Paper birds.

I have tried my hand at a paper cut-out again. I think it went a little better than my previous disaster.

I have mounted it on another sheet of white paper, about 1/2 a cm away (using those adhesive foam bits) - the idea is that if a light shines on it the front will form shadows on the back. If you know what I mean.

That's really lovely! I lile the design. Love the doodles below too and the use of the circles from the hole punch. I love the circles from hole punches and only the other day collected some to use later!

Oh - this is gorgeous!! I like your idea of mounting it so that it will cast shadows. Hope the work is going well, and you're not getting too frazzled by it!!

Bird is the WORD! Well done! I have tried cut outs - failed. This is wonderful and inspires me to try again . glad the cards and tags came to your house FINALLY! Post to your neck of the woods takes bloody forever!I have much running around to do today, busy time even though I have simplified it all,,,still I have well meaning friends who want to "take me out" for my birthday- I say- yes but let's do it after this crazed holiday is in the rear view mirror...they do not comply- they think that the very DATE is important - it's not. Besides that damn baby steals my thunder- EVERY year!
