I returned and saw ...

I have a bit of an obsession with stitching and paper. Herewith my newest endeavour: stitching quotations in books. I have used a folded book for this one.

The quotation is a very true observation about life - do you know what the quotation is?

I like your idea of stitching quotes in books. I like stitching paper-it requires a whole different touch to stitching fabric. I wish I was able to say what the quote is, but sadly not!

" I returned and saw...that nothing had changed but everything was different"...my own quote- having just returned from the peninsula after five days...I love stitched paper and your idea is very cool- black and white and red all over- clever you!

Linda Sue already said it all. Except I haven't been anywhere but the hospital--and still everything is different. Nice work with the stitchery.

I love your stitched paper - but I don't know the quote. I am always very impressed with people who have quotes in their blogs - as English was my best subject at school, I should be able to do it too!!

I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift....???
Not sure if that's the quote, but LOVE how you've done it.
