Bowl.

I finished crocheting a bowl/basket from the grass twine I bought at the car boot sale. (The knitted squares became two mats for putting hot dishes on the table.)

Slow and painful work, but I like the result. Kind of wabi-sabi, don't you think?

Yes I like it. Simple and natural.
It is painful crocheting that stuff-almost like splinters. My string bag still sits in a bag as I have started a stripey blanket.

Hi there,
Just wanted to wish you a very happy and creative New Year!
P.S. Also really like your twine crocheted bowl.

Nice work! I can see why it would be painful, though. Yes, very wabi-sabi. Lots of asymmetry, rough simplicity and naturally unique.

I'm glad you liked the hot chocolate recipe. My hubby prefers only cold beverages and doesn't like cinnamon much or almond flavor at all so it is good to find someone who appreciates what I enjoy.
