Whizzing past ...


Yesterday I walked down to the end of our road to watch the Argus cycle tour cyclists come past.

I derived a certain smug satisfaction contemplating the fact that I was comfortably seated and would soon be walking home to a glass of chilled wine and lunch, whereas they would have to slog for several more hours, and that against a roaring South-easter. Oh, I am a meanie, I am ...

Oh meanie indeed! Those guys asked for it...Love the shadows in the first shot. Cool1 We are having more snow just for you today! I woke up and there it was , has not stopped, and I thought of you and how we might trade places today...

Anairam! I just read your comment on Lisa's blog re: Keri Smith so i looked up the book on Amazon and searched through it a bit...Sorry I must put another bug in your ear about creating your own book of delight and inspiration. In fact I think that you should just publish your entire blog because it is genius! That's what I'm saying!!!

How very nice are those men in your country.I think this year I visit you Anairam. Here in Russia it is only the granny womens who riding on the bicycle. Also my granny. That is not so nice to see. Now I am busy writing my book so I can not write to you every day even if I know you are missing my great thought.

I'm with you girl! A little spectating to work up an appetite and then a nice meal with a glass of wine sounds like perfectly adequate Sunday exercise to me!

A little bit meanie Anairam..not totally..I wish to be in a sunny place right now..however i would stay in the shade enjoying a nice meal.
