Weekword: History
A (quick) History of the World - mine. Starting at the top with grandparents on both sides; my mom, a student teacher, meets dad, a dashing fighter pilot in WWII; me in high-chair and as a toddler, the littlest of three sisters. A brother was later added to this ménage. Unfortunately this union (my mom and dad), no doubt a romantic and happy one to start off with, did not last. Such is life. The rest (from toddler to now) is not included - it is not history, it is my life.

I liked seeing a little of your history Anairam. I like the way you have illustrated it-especially the girl's face and the colours you have chosen.
beatiful photos. Interesting how history can be split into two again. It starts separate and comes together and then splits again with strings because they can never again be really separate. Thanks for a great illustration and a very good weekword(:
A great collage of family photos - I only had one set of grandparents, as my Mum was an orphan!
Nice weekword/story...I thought it was on monday you would tell about weekword...think I´m a bit out of order these days...I´ll post something tomorrow ;)))
I had the same idea to show my family history but I realised i lacked some photos!
structured just like a family tree of thoughts - a great way to capture history! i'm intrigued by your family's past...these photographs make me want to know more...
I also see it as me being part of history ... the last one.
[I thought I had scheduled my weekword post for Friday ... but No. Now it's posted though!]
Hopefully I'll post your package tomorrow or on Tuesday.
so interesting. i love how you added the family photos into your sketch. it's historical, now. fun word!
History is a great word Anairam, love seeing yours. I find other people's family history fascinating, more so than my own which is weird. I suppose it's because I know mine and take it for ganted (which I shouldn't really do!)
Beautiful history dear Anairam!
I wish I had pics. of my grandparents.
Svetlana is here! Hello! I am wanting to see the picture of your sisters. Why are they not in your picture? I am sure they are very pretty. Myself I have the very nice sisters but the one is also strange. She did hit herself with the iron on the head. Can you believe?
your dad looked pretty cool as a pilot!!! nice story :-)
( i loved to read your nice words!)
oh lovely!
I wanna be part again!
What is the weekword for this week?
