Weekword: Transportation

After a hiatus of a year, I have started meditation practice again.

Some will get there faster than others ...

Lovely Leenie (who paints and writes poems and takes trips and tells a good story) chose this week's word, see her blog for other participants!

I admire your preparations for transportation. That kind of travel is difficult. Being Here Now and the focus of the mind is difficult at best and pretty much impossible for my short attention span. Love your collage! Nice work and best wishes.

and some will NEVER get there...as we have become aware...brilliant images and I love that you chose transport of a more important sort. I was going to travel with my mind...go down to see you and bring with me loads of water and rain and sea but I opted out for wimpy paint and a train...I am lazy and mind travel requires such concentration...would love to send you some- wishing you wet!

I think that I would like to travel with Nelson...Your mode of transportation looks way too difficult...Like I said I am lazy.

Super collage! I haven't tried meditation, but I think the hypnotherapy I was doing for the face ache was similar - going inside myself to a serene place where the outside (including pain) didn't intrude - while listening to my cd, I would lose track of time, and find it was an hour later when I thought it was about 10 minutes!! Have a good weekend, love Anne

Your statement on this page rings very true to me. I have to be quite meditative in my approach to long journeys as my car is so old and slow. It will get us there in the end, just not in the same time frame as the others. I have never meditated for real -in fact I am not sure how to. Perhaps I should learn.

I have just looked more carefully and realise that cars are really just a metaphor! I like what you are saying in this collage and realise that I should not just rush in and leave a comment so quickly! I will not delete it though as it always worries me if I find a deleted comment-what can they have written I think?

My dear dear friend Anairam,

thanks a lot for stopping by my blog and your kind words. I really appreciate your feedback. I miss your incredible talent making from nothing somethings, as I see it.

I wish you all the best and I will be here very soon.

Take care
