A Perfect Present.

L'Usband gave me a perfect gift last week:

Yes, I know what you think, but really, there was no ulterior motive. (I hope.) And I absolutely love it. So now, in addition to going stab, stab, stab-stab, STAB, I can also go chop, chop, chop-chop, CHOP ...
What a fun way of getting rid of aggressive impulses! I used it to make some decluttering notebooks - i.e. notebooks made from old postcards and art invitations and the insides of old envelopes.

What is the most perfect gift you have ever received?

That's quite a question you have posed!! A recent gift is my wonderful camera that I got for my birthday/Christmas last year. I am so much in love with it!! Of course I would also say my son .....

I used to love the proper guilotine at school as opposed to the modern slicey ones. One of my best gifts was a perfectly rouns stone from my friend who knows I like stones!

Hey thanks for the heads up about my non working link on my blog! Its up and running now!
I love it when a hubby is supportive of the arts and crafts needs of their wife! A perfect gift right now would be a new lens for my camera!

GREAT prezzie! One of my best ever gifts (although perhaps not the best ever) was a new ironing board. Yep, not the most romantic but it was very welcome at the time - I was a student and had been ironing on a table, so it was very thoughtful. Bravo l'Usband!

I remember a birthday when I had similar feelings of delight about a glue gun and upholstery stapler!

oh i am drooling! there is NOTHING like the firm chop chop of a paper cutter. yours looks so much nicer, heavier, durable than mine. a true guillotine. and that plexiglas guard on the side? i gotta get me one of those! way to go l'usband!

that is a beauty. i'm envious.
some of my best gifts, i've bought for myself. :)
a friend recently gave me a box of cotton string after i expressed so much enthusiasm for the string she used to tie up a gift for me.
and lunch and shopping with a friend was a really perfect recent gift (that's how it felt).
