Knit 2.

I have finished my 2nd knitting project from this book - a notebook cover. I also handmade the notebook that I sewed into the cover. Actually, the pattern is not very practical - the front and back covers flap open - so it is not something you can just pop into your handbag. Next time I'll adapt the pattern (make it wider) and fold the left and right sides over to sew pockets into which I can tuck the front and back pages of my notebook.

Wow - an entire week went by without me posting anything on my blog. I have been quite busy with work, but I have also been feeling the desire to spend my free time making things, rather than posting about or looking at things.  Hmmmm - is this perhaps the start of that downward spiral that marks so many of my projects and passions ...?
Enjoy the remainder of your weekend, dear friends!

Good knitting! I know what you mean about that downward spiral and sometimes wonder if it will happen with blogging. I hope not as it is a bit different to other projects or passions as it reflects all of them and also means I have a whole new group of friends to keep up with. So I hope you don't give it up! Just do it less while the creative urge is upon you!

There is a rhythm to things - sometimes it is a mania sometimes it is a slow down sometimes it is an abrupt STOP! I don't think I will ever go on a baking frenzy again for instance..
I am pleased to hear that your work has not chewed you up and spit you out this time. Must be a more relaxed job. I LOVE your white knitty cover. Looks refreshing, like snow.
Dexter wags to Snous- he is a little bit shy about it because he is naked...went to the overly enthused groomer yesterday.BRRRRR.I am posting a valentine to you on Monday- it should get there by VD day, probably a year from now...

Lovely!
That is the problem with time. You can only do one thing with it and the choices are difficult to make. I know I have had to do more and blog less. But I do miss the blogging relationships.
