I have been experimenting with bleach.
In this first one I sprinkled ordinary household bleach straight from the bottle.
And here I painted the bleach with a fine brush using a stencil for the letters.
Might use this idea in one of my patchwork lappies, and/or my altered book.
(I will maybe write more on the altered book later - it is in its first stages only ...)
Have a lovely weekend, wherever you are, dear friends! Experiment a little!

I really like what you've done. I learned a little about reverse printing in seminars when I was working for a silk screen company. It's fun to see what effects can be created using that process.
My problem is getting bleach on clothes when I don't mean to. At this very moment I'm wearing trousers with a messy splash on the leg from a cleaning spree in a bathroom. Drat!
Bleach can be tricky- Controlled it looks awesome but I am afraid I have clothing like Leenies.
I have used bleach on paintings - that is pretty cool on dark paper. Sort of mud cloth effect- we LOVE that!
That looks like a lot of fun! I too have clothes with bleach marks from over enthusiastic cleaning!
I love it! What is that gorgeous material you used for this?
I clean with vinegar and baking soda, so no bleach stains for me, though everyone's cleaning clothing sounds pretty. :)
I have no bleach stains either-lack of cleaning probably! I like the second one-it has worked really well.
I wonder what effect you might achieve if you used bleach on material with a pattern.
