Flap.
The notebook cover I knitted some time ago has really been annoying me. It keeps on flapping all over the place and makes it impossible for me to carry it in my handbag. So I sewed a flap onto the front & back knitted covers to tuck in the notebook, and Mr Darning Foot stitched some doodles.

I don't know why you say your little creations are not comparable to the stuff I produce. This notebook is so unique and clever. I really like the texture and color of the paper and it looks like you've solved the problem for your knitted cover. Mr. Darning Foot is also very talented.
