Scale

I found this scale in a local junk shop this weekend. Nice, hey? It is still in working order, too!

Now at last I'll be able to follow all those recipes that use pounds and ounces.

Cute scale- I would have to weigh myself about six times to get to my weight- , or weigh myself in pieces. Scales for me are no good- I don't weigh anything really I cook in "gobs" gob of this gob of that...care to come over for a gob of lunch?

That is just something that I would buy as well! and I do have blogs that I now follow that do require some converting from the cups and tablespoons that I am so accustomed to using - you should pop round to my blog - we are on the same wave length - I have vintage baking finds from a garage sale recently over these
you know how it is, can't help myself
I love to shop

My mom used to have one very similar to that! What a lucky find!

What a great find - so much more stylish than my flat digital scales!

What a beauty! I am so drawn to kitchen gadgets - especially of the vintage variety - but like Aimee, it's more about what they look like than wanting to use them to actually cook... Can't wait to see what you bake with the help of these - now that you've broken the bread boundary, the sky is the limit!!! :)

My mom has one like this - I think it was passed to her by my grandmother. I feel instantly nostalgic looking at this!
