oh I'm with you on this! I love dandelions! that compact brilliant yellow pom-pom!!!
You are totally right here. Dandelions are so colorful!
I love dandelions, they have such a beautiful structure from the shape of the flower bud, the yellow flower, the dandelion clock right down to its dimpled head when all the seeds have dispersed. You can put the leaves in salad too. I just marvel at these much maligned plants.
I love weeds 'cause they keep on keeping on despite hard conditions and persecution! And I do not have a green thumb at all, but they even seem to thrive under my care :)
And dandelions particularly have such a lot going for them (and Anjie's said) - what's not to love?
you are reading my mind! I think, all in the eye of the beholder
and I am with you
bright, shiny, patent red shoes
for certain
and maybe a walking cane
just in case I get a little
"unstable"
Dandelions are not weeds- they are just very successful , like coyotes, they can grow anywhere! We have used dandelions for , necklaces, garlands, curly queus, in pancakes,in salad, in tea and to make our faces yellow. My son and I have a dandelion appreciation day, the date varies but it is when the blossoms become as large as saucers- they get that big here!
Perception - So true of 'weeds' and so much else in life!
I love to see dandelions in the roadside verges - but not in the garden!
Yes, yes, yes.. you are so right!
*it is a matter of perception* :)
I love dandelions. I didn't know they grew in South Africa, too.
I too am a lover of dandelions, to me they are just dandy!!!! (:
I'm always a little sad when dandelions are snuffed out due to their unfortunate title as a "weed".
Gorgeous photo!
what a sweet post. and so true of most things in life :)
you are so right about that! it all depends of the eyes that see : )
