I Can Fly.

I made a new doll.

And just in case people don't get her, I've put a label on her wing.

Mostly people don't get me. I sometimes wonder if I should stick a label on my forehead saying something like quirkess* or weirdo or beware: abnormal. Do you think it would help or would it confuse people even more?

* This is not a word.  I made it up.
PS The first of the three books I have to edit over the next few months has arrived. I am immersed in Doppler effects and Huygens's Principle. Have pity on me.

I just dumped a whole truck load of pity upon thee! I hate your job! I love your angel! I think you might do well to stamp "abnormal" on your forehead- we are a club you know...how else will we be able to identify one another? Code words like 'quirkess" also works...you are the queen of abnormal- I am close...Queenette, perhaps.
word verification-'flybaing' which is what your angle does I am sure.

So quirkess I can not even spell correctly!

I love angels .... and yours is exceedingly lovely!! We're not abnormal - we are differently-normalled (as in not disabled, but differently-abled)!!

Ha ha ha! I love your angle(LS!) and your new word. When you have made the tattoo into one of those wash off ones I would like a copy too please!
I do have pity on you-I have pity on all of us who would much rather be doing the important things such as making papier mache angels instead of drowning in work!

I often feel the same way... sometimes it is hard wandering about feeling different or the odd one out... but I know I wouldn't swap it for the world and all the stars.

Like your angel, too.

Oh Anairam! I love the term quirkess as much as I love your angel. Who wants to be normal and boring?? We do make a fine organization of abbie normals.

My sympathy to you and your appalling job. Just think how much wiser you will be when you finish; and maybe even more abnormal than ever. Which is a good thing.

Quirkess. Went out for breakfast this morning and quoted you! It is such a lovely word to describe us!

I'd love to be called quirkess, I'd think it was a compliment. Beautiful angel by the way.
