Celadon green

I love these shades of green, of which I seem to have quite a bit in my house ...

Toy car from L'Usband's childhood, old candelabra from the early years of Carrol Boyes, paint samples (I am thinking of painting the kitchen walls);
Iced tea bottles too beautiful to throw away, Susie Cooper jug found in Stellenbosch, old toffee tin;
Tin advertisement for seeds, Fortnum and Mason biscuit tin (bought in London - the biscuits lasted a day, but the tin has kept my cookie cutters safe for the past 5 years), little bowl and saucer given to me by a friend;
Villeroy and Boch soup bowl and plate (pattern Scarlett, which is a funny name for something green, but nevermind), detail from my collection of cutout words, paper Chinese fan.

I just saw those Arizona Ice tea containers at Walgreens the other day and marveled at how pretty they are. Would it be weird to put flowers in an empty one? :)

Lovely mosaic!

I love love love the color compositions - that color is one of my secret favs and you have a beautiful collection of bits in your home to draw upon
one day - I will share the 8 story - too bad we couldn't just meet for a cookie and a "virtual" cup of tea!

I love when people put together what seems to be an odd collection of things - but somehow they work so well together!

Oh this is a lovely collection Anairam. I'm always inclined to want to pick a favourite but I honestly can't - there is just too much yumminess! Have you made a decision on the colour for your kitchen? They are so beautiful. I've been collecting all sorts of paint chips 'cause I want to paint my bedroom but there are SO many lovely colours to choose from that I find myself paralysed - and the walls remain white!

Lovely collection of soft mints. Especially that aged metal. I too have the Arisona bottles - too pretty to throw out.

What a beautiful colour indeed. You seem to have a great collection of tins! I gave many of mine away when I moved to Germany -still regret that (not the moving but the gone tins ;)!
