patience ...

I am in the process of creating a new header. I want to use one of my photographs, but oh, to choose is so difficult. And then to adapt it so that it looks the way I want it to look. (I'm not quite sure how I want it to look.)
So for the moment, my header is just text. I wish I had a fancy program with lots of colours - but at the moment I'm stuck with Paint's limited range.
Patience, patience ...

I hope you are getting on ok with your task. I think I would get less odd looks in the nursery than anywhere else-the kids will love it! I may take it off before the management meeting though!
With my header I just use any photo that I like and just crop it into a rectangle! Et voila! I had the same one for ages and then just got the idea from Elizabeth Bunsen at Be Dream Play as I like how she does that. She has a banner related to each post. Maybe one day I will paint a special one. Who knows!

oh you have courage - I hope to do the same one day - and we all will wait, have no fear
but I have to readily admit - I am still working, in general, on the patience virtue

I would love to change mine - but one look at the instructions on typepad and I decided I really quite like it ....

I love the font on the "in progress" version! Can't wait to see what you come up with. I changed mine and then changed it back 'cause I decided I like the original better. I don't have the energy to have a constantly changing one although I love it on other people's blogs when they change regularly so I should probably be less lazy!

Hope you're having fun with yours... :)

The word verification is hippolatio - it sounds like a form of massage that involves being sat upon by hippos!

Patience is a hard one. I've always thought that I do not have a lot of it, but I'm often told how patient I am. So, I suppose perceptions are everything! :>

I have yet to tackle my header. I just haven't settled on what I want, so its a bit like looking in the dark. In the meantime, I'm enjoying being inspired by others! I agree with kendalee about the font on your current header...fun! :>
