I haven't had one in awhile, but your collage definitely has that eerie nightmare feel too it! Great work!

It has been a very long time that a nightmare stampeded through my slumber...my dreamworld is really fantastic and colourful and active and majical...every night- I usually go to bed early because dreamworld is so much better than waking world...I am always younger, lighter, and know what to do...Your nightmare certainly is effective!

I do. Fortunately quite seldom but they can be vivid and intense and wake me up frightened or sad, sometimes even crying. Not good! I hope you don't encounter them very often but you've turned something dark into something very beautiful in this collage. It's gorgeous.

When I was a child, I had a recurring nightmare that I was going down the stairs at school when I would lose my footing and go faster and faster down the stairs - waking with a start just as I crashed to the bottom! Now, I have a nightmare (thankfully not very often) when I know there is someone in the house, but when I try to turn on the lights, they don't work. perhaps someone reading this comment could tell me what they mean!! Have a lovely weekend. love Anne
ps, as we sat here surrounded by snow, we were watching the cricket - can we please swap weather!!

oh yes. but the nightmares are not the worst. it's the feeling before i fall asleep, it's like i know there's something bad to come. it makes me a complete basket case of anxiety.

I do sometimes, and I amaze myself with the scenarios I come up with! I just wish my imagination was as vivid when I was awake. I kind of like nightmares I think. Both my dreams and my nightmares often involve changes to familiar surroundings that I never suspected. I like that too. Your collage is very evocative, and again, I like the use you made of my photo. If anywhere could induce a nightmare it is that castle! I like the birds and the blurry picture of the woman who appears to be running. Have you seen 'The Ring'-quite old now-and I have not seen the Japanese version, just the American. That is full of nightmarish scenes.
