T-A-D #16 The Handy Handbag Hug/$%^# Dispenser

Aren’t you sometimes in need of a hug? Just when that special person that you normally turn to for such comfort, is unavailable? Well, I have designed the perfect replacement for you - carrying as many hugs as you wish, easily replaceable, convenient to carry with you. And the good news is: you can make your own!
Take one miniature 4″ plastic salt canister (mine is from my kitchen decluttering exercise)…

Cut a slit where the little holes are …

Tape together a long strip of paper and write on your hugs …

Cover canister with nice paper, place strip inside canister and feed out …

And voila - a handy handbag hug dispenser. For those really mean days when you need to utter some hefty swear words (like when the neighbour's grader rips up your telephone and ADSL line, the neighbour buys a new conduit, and then gives YOU the bill!!) replace the hugs as below … nifty, hey!

This is genius! But oh my god, I can't believe what your neighbour did! What a bummy person. Then again, I suppose it means you can still be online, eh?

Nifty for sure, and brilliant! I love this!!! As for your neighbour... I don't even know what to say... I think I need several pieces off that last strip of tape please?!

heather & kendalee - Ha! Just call me Brilliant Genius! Yep, I like that - kind of rolls off the tongue ... Oh, the neighbour, actually, he has always been very friendly (although not always completely straight with us) so I don't really understand where it is coming from. I think he is trying to make the point that our telephone cable runs on his side of the wall, so should something happen to it (even if his builders are responsible for the damage), we must replace it! The development was designed and built like this 20 years ago, so we cannot really be blamed for the fact that it is like that. It wasn't a wheelbarrow-load of money, so we paid it, but I think exactly for that reason it was a bit bloody-minded of him.

Did you see the little fellow on the Hug Dispenser making a fast getaway?

I wonder why ...

Karma has it's way with neighbors such as he...He may end up IN a despensor..
I love your clever idea of hugs but most of all the blankety blank swearing- (I would use the real words actually, becasue I am a cow that way).
today I am making buttons- they are turning out not so great, think I'll switch to something blankety blank!

I can no believe how clever you are! Maybe also your family is very clever? I will take the big dispenser and in it I put long strip paper with:"The Great and Interesting Thoughts of the Patriot Svetlana". Then because I am sosialist I will stand on the Red Square (you know this one?) and then all peoples who look depressing can take one piece! Thank you for the nice idea!

I would have refused to pay it. Or maybe my inner brave person would have refused and me normal wimpy self would have paid and then just muttered a bit and given him some evils through the kitchen window... Hm.

L'Usband - Well, I hope you are not implying that some people would want to make a fast getaway from my hugs!

Wendren - The possbilinties are endless, hey! The neighbour, oh the neighbour, grrrrrrr ...

Linda Sue - Oh, on my good days I believe in karma. It always seems to work in MY case, anyway - when I'm mean to someone (which really happens very very seldom, I swear, it always comes back to bite me ...)

svetlana - Oh, I have a VERY clever family - one of them (The Mathematician Lady) is even coming to visit me tomorrow! (that is, if I can find her a little open space amongst all the rubbish in the Officer's Mess...) I like your idea of Svetlana's Interesting Thoughts - you can even come and hand them out here - we also have a Red Square in South Africa (in fact, we have several!)

Heather - Oh, we will have to live next to them for a very long time, so we felt that we would pay to avoid trouble, and we didn't want to have bad feelings between us ... (but of course, now we DO have bad feelings!)

i know the words brilliant and genius have already been used here, but i'll use them again. this idea is brilliant! and genius! thank goodness you are both, because it sounds like you're going to need that creative mind to survive that torture of a neighbor.

Damn... Maybe just a quick tango type slap and foot stamp?
