Bad Copy #6 (of a painting by Polly Alakija from the exhibition We Are Such Stuff as Dreams are Made of, January 2007) Bad Copy #7 (of a photograph by Dave Robertson from the exhibition Remember - October 2005)
These are just awesome- I like that you think they are poor copies - you are so wrong - it's funny that you think the way you think. LOVE YOU! Cheers- eat a cookie and get fat- I certainly have and am...just in time to be Santa.
I always learn and appreciate something more when I take the time to study how it is put together. Sketching and copying make me focus and see the detail. I love the way you have used the printed page as a base for your "bad copy" book. Like I said before, I think you've added your style and improved on the works
Thanks for being a supportive and inspiring blog friend and fellow Pretorian! Have a good Festive Season! Looking forward to keeping in contact in 2010!

its amazing to see how you translate the idea and make it your own!
ps any word of the weekword?
I really like this bad copy series, your interpretation of all these different art styles, making them your own. Very interesting process.

i can no longer let you go on living a lie! these are not bad copies! i am lobbying for a name change.
I'm with Aimee! Including the word bad in any description of these just feels bad. I love the red string drawing - one of my favourites so far!
