A walk on the mountain

The Cape is well-known for its wide variety of wild flowers. These (and many more) I snapped on the mountain this weekend.

Have a lovely week - smell the flowers, and if there aren't any, draw or paint some!

Lovely sunny weather. We've had lots of rain - but at least it is not too hot!

All dark and frozen still- I have forgotten that flowers do indeed bloom somewhere on this planet - and sunshine- oh heaven! I really need these shots of flowers today- thank you, Ms. Genius! Your comment on my cookie ordeal was hilarious- When I am feeling grumped out and freezing cold I re-read it for a good hearty warming guffaw!

I'm with Linda Sue on needing the reminder that somewhere flowers are blooming. Your photos are lovely, lovely. Some of them even look familiar. Hmmm...do flowers migrate like ducks? (wish I could have been there when those cookies kicked in)
