the silence.

Finished this a couple of weeks ago.

































the silence (tissue papers, wrapping paper, gauze, newspaper, dyed fabric, paint, magazine images, henna template, embroidery yarn, bamboo - photocopied, stamped, painted, hand stitched.)


Update: another 360 pages to go ...

This is AMAZING and eerie and beautiful and so much more!
It brings to mind the image of the lone boy soldier you showed us here a while back. The silence afterwards maybe?
