Charmed, I'm sure ...

I have a box of bits & bobs - beads, broken earrings, parts of broken toys, coins, old jewellery, buttons and so on. Last year before Christmas, in a spurt of enthusiastic activity, I decided to make lucky charms from the bits and pieces, the idea being to put them in Christmas crackers. So I made 16 charms, using tigertail and crimps, but as usual my energy & enthusiasm ran out and I never got around to making the actual Christmas crackers.

The charms were dumped in a drawer, until yesterday, when I bought this bracelet.

I suddenly realized that I've always wanted a charm bracelet!! Something like this, perhaps, with indian silver beads, coins, an african fertility doll and two fish.
or a more silvery look, with suns, a fairy and silver bells, indian silver beads and tiny elephant...
or this one with moon and stars (and also indian silver beads, a golden locket and a coin)...
or a more colourful, playful one with a zebra, a beaded Indian chief, a star, dolphins and a little doll?

So what do you think - could it work?

ps: so you do some proofreading from time to time ? Are you also a translator ?

It's great to think that your creative surge of a few months ago was not wasted! Those charms will be great for you and I agree with Stephanie - put them all on!

Oh yes! I would put them ALL on! Cool, dramatic and curious! Very nice, indeed! Great idea for christmas crackers, too.

Gorgeous!!! I like the all-on-at-once idea too - very funky - but can see that it'd nice to have the option to mix up the moods a bit. I really love the top and bottom ones!

Dear everybody, thnaks for your comments! Today I went ahead and got the little clips to clip them on, but honestly, all at once - too MIM for me! And they got SO tangled! So I opted for number two and added the locket and the fish as well. They bang against my keyboard in a most unpleasant manner, so either I must make the charms shorter, or else only wear them when I will be sans laptop...

Oh, of course I meant thanks and not thnaks! But you may have thnaks if you want, too ...

Now if le 'usband could just persuade La Blogeuse to hang more stuff on that bracelet, he may just be able to find a space to sit down again ...
