A while ago sweet Denise of Freshly Found had a giveaway and I won it! And yesterday morning I fetched my goodies from the Post Office, feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve. It was beautifully wrapped with her personalised ribbon:
and inside I found my brilliant Corrections (for Correctional Services) cushion cover. I love it!!
("Where are the handcuffs?" asks Le Husband).
But inside the package was another surprise - this witty, quirky cushion cover!
It says: Electricity Company Ghana Ltd. How cool is that?! When Eskom fails us, I will have the Ghana Electricity Company to call upon!
Thank you so much, Denise! (And if you haven't yet seen Freshly Found's delightful cushion covers, go here!)

Lucky you!
How wonderfully quirky and stylish! I wonder what the Ghanaian Electricity Co. would have used the fabric for originally? Uniforms, table cloths, curtains, flags... ?!?Interesting.
Le 'usband is drowning in stuff!
See here
So good to see where the cushions are living now!
Kendalee, I was also wondering what the fabric could have been used for - maybe uniforms?
Le'usband - apologies for adding to the stuff that you are drowning in!
stephanie - Luck indeed must have had something to do with it - I can't remember when last I won something! Also the kindness of strangers ...
kendalee - The Ghanaian one is so sweet! It is a lightweight fabric, so I am guessing shirts.
Le Husband - Oh, poor thing! Now let me see, I saw a beautiful old lifebelt at an antique shop in Simons Town the other day ...
freshly found - You have been so generous!
