So I made the lavender garland first. Look, I have even made some effort to style my photograph by combining it with a piece of wood and an old bottle ...
And here I have placed it against a mirror in the hallway. With some fairy lights. (I have renewed appreciation for stylists who can make the most everyday objects appear beautiful and special by selecting just the right spot and the right objects to pair it with...)
Our rosemary bush was next in line ...
... and I made this rosemary garland which is now hanging on our glass front door to welcome visitors ...
Oh look! That damn wayward sprig has worked itself loose. Oh well, we all need to relax a bit ... have a lovely weekend, my dears!

And I bet the lavender one smells amazing.

stephanie - The lavender one smells lovely, but the rosemary one smells better!
linda sue - Dress warmly, snuggle up with hot chocolate in front of a fire, and wait for spring!
editor - Thanks! You've given me an idea - I always concentrate on the object I'm photographing and not the shadows they make - I'm going to actively look for shadows now ...
karina - I'm glad you like them (and they're super-easy to make!)
