Sticks and stones.

A few weeks ago I painted some stones - such a pleasant, meditative activity, with quite pleasing results. Well, they please me, anyway!

I also decided to decorate sticks with yarn. They needed a bit of colour, I thought.

Have a great weekend, dear friends. I will be proofreading, but I hope you will pop out for a while and paint a stone or wrap yarn around a twig ...

The stones look like mud cloth's little sisters. I saw some on line somewhere that were painted like strawberries, useful for tricking birds. Snous, if she is like Dexter, is probably not interested in the sticks but Dexter's friends would try to take them , and kill them.
You will be drowning in words soon, I will miss you fabulous posts. So much fun and very inspiring, Madame. Thanks!

The rock painting is very Tao or Wabi Sabi or something like that. The designs look so effortless and somehow you've made stones soft to the eyes. The sticks are just fun. Made me smile.

I have some nice driftwood sticks in the studio ...... and of course untold amounts of yarn - could a new project be added to the to-do list?!
