Transparent: easily understood; free from affectation or disguise; frank.
The Bourgie Lamp designed by Laviani for Kartell. (from here).
Now Kartell has collaborated with .normaluisa to make these:

if it's lucite, I'm loving it! I have always wanted to be invisible... As I approach old age it is becoming true.

I also love Phillipe Starck's Louis Ghost Chair. And the new clothes of all the emperors all over the world...

I like the little lamps. The shoes would just show off my weird toes... :)

linda sue - Oh, true words! I'm also finding that as I get older people simply don't notice me anymore. Instead of getting annoyed, I should probably learn to use it to my advantage ...
anonymous - Oh, the Ghost Chair is simply beautiful - I love it too. I liked your philosophical and dry comment about the emperors' clothes ...
lenorevermore - Yes, and the clock has struck twelve, and the coach has turned into a pumpkin!! (Happy Halloween!)
kendalee - I like the lamps too, not sure how little they are - I know they can be adjusted to three different heights. As for the shoes - yes, I was wondering whether I would have the courage to wear them - I would have to keep my feet pedicured constantly, and I'm not very good with stuff like that!
