Let's Play!

I love this furniture by designer Stephen Reed - beech veneer benches in the shape of Scrabble letter racks ...

and the cushions representing the tiles.
Oh my goodness me, I feel a fabric project coming on ... (found via loco-notions)

How cool is that?!? Wouldn't it be fun to live in a board game house. Seriousness would not be able to get a foothold and days would be spent just paying- no winning no loosing. Thanks for this inspiration- I would even clean my house for this !!!

I meant PLAYING- typo that escaped but maybe a subconcious slip...paying seems to be the theme of the week ....

Linda Sue - Yes, I think the idea of boardgames as furniture/interior design is great! When one is in an aggressive mood, maybe it can be Risk, with world maps on the wall and lots of little cushions you can pelt each other with. Monopoly could also work ...
kendalee - I want to make myself a cushion like that!
Esti - Yes, what a great idea for schools, isn't it?! (I think these Scrabble ones were designed for the reception area of a company)

freshly found - I'm afraid my cushion will not be as beautiful as the ones you make! For one thing, I don't know how to do zips. I'm just planning to sew the whole thing up. If I ever have to wash it I will just undo the stitches or something. Maybe I'll just never wash it.
L'Usband - Yes, duck, ducky!
