Meet Ms Mirabelle Malena Matisse

I have finally christened my paper doll. I wrote the 5 suggested names on strips of paper and then drew two. So, she is Ms Mirabelle Malena Matisse. Mirabelle has a French father and an Argentinean mother, hence the French and Spanish names. Their love affair is a sad and tragic one, maybe one day she will tell you the story ...

Herewith her tango outfit. A little lace hat with a paper rose.

Her dress is just as she likes it - simple and elegant, with a nice neckline but not showing cleavage, and a good slit to allow her room for any fancy decorations she may want to do, like those high boleos, or sentadas. Or just to show a bit of fishnet-stockinged leg, maybe ...

Oh, judge her not by her shoes, please! I tried to get her a pair of Manolo Blahniks, but since we have already established that she has weird feet, this has sadly not been possible. Notice her one toe poking out the side of her shoe? Well, let me just say that this has caused many a problem on the dance floor.

She thanks you all for being so kind in offering her names, and she likes the others so much too - Amelie, Simone and Maiya - that she has decided to use them as a nom de plume. Yes, she is penning her memoirs, dear girl, she has only been living for a week, and yet has so much to tell ...

linda sue - I'm happy that you like her. I like your interpretation of her personality - you're close!
lenorevermore - Hey, that is a great idea! Maybe I should let her guest-blog once a week! Well, maybe only every second week... she has been prattling on non-stop since I made her, and I'm afraid I may never get her to stop!
stephanie - Well, I've advised her against revealing all - some of the details of her life are beyond belief ... Oh, my goodness, does Enid live in a box?! I'm shocked! I must never let Mirabelle find out - this could scar her for life! (She lives on an artist's easel. But who knows, her life may change ...)

Poor Mirabelle Malena Matisse
In blogland has lost her valise
    Have pity on me,
    For I'm naked you see,
And watched by the Secret Police!

(She's dressed now, but just go back to her birth!)
