Interiors

I recently discovered Esprit Champêtre which is a treasure trove of lovely images - with some of my favourite interior elements: weathered wood, glass, old silver, paper, some greenery - just a pity I don't understand French!

Have a look at Esprit Champêtre's different albums for inspiration...

Love it ! so French...amazing how the XVIIIth cent. style is always in vogue.

m.c.i.s. - I quite like this French style. It probably suits an old, big house better than our 'modern' little beach cottage, but still, I think one can always use a few elements of a style in one's own look - maybe reinterpret it a little ...!

These are lovely! So serene. I love the thought of these subtle and sophisticated palette's and adore the look when I see them in pictures but always end up going for stronger colours... No self restraint! Or maybe it's the climate where I live that requires something richer? Not sure.

kendalee - I know what you mean - I think climate may play a role. Certainly when it is winter here I dress my house up in warmer colours!
