Trials and tribulations ...

My poor, poor little computer is sick. It gave a couple of sad coughs yesterday, then burped several BSOD's and although it bravely tried to reboot, fell into a coma ...
So, dear friends, it is now in hospital and I am awaiting the doctor's report.
In the meantime, expect fewer posts. (And only when and if I can nab Le Husband's laptop, like now, while he is watching some ridiculous game on TV where some rather unattractive looking males are chasing one another on a field. Oh, now I remember, it's called rugby.)
And to add to my tale of woe, we have been without water since 7am this morning ...

Oh no anairam, commiserations. I hope it doesn't interrupt your blogging too much - I'd miss you! :o)

kendalee & bronwyn - Thank you, dears! Le IT Specialist is fighting the good fight and it seems that my laptop is slowly being coaxed back to life, albeit sans some of its data bitlets. But who am I to complain? Quite a few of my data bitlets are missing too ...

I too am missing bits and bi(y)tes and my dentist says it's not going to get any better. But here's to your laptop's health!
How can you be without water? We heard that a baby tsunami struck your dorp...

anonymous - And a very baby tsunami it was - we did not notice a thing! But the water problem is a recurrent one here where we live. Only a section of the neighbourhood is affected - we are apparently on an old section of the system. We are without water about once every 10 weeks, this time was the worst, no water from 7 am to 11 pm! (Usually it gets fixed within 4 hours). Still, the view makes up for it. Lots of water to watch, even if there is none coming out of our taps!
