(Art journal page, with the white gel pen bits illustrating anxieties taking root in my brain and branching out ...)I would like to
stop:
1. greed and avarice and unnecessary consumption.
2. people taking advantage.
3. waking up at 3 a.m. and rolling around, filled with anxieties, and unable to get back to sleep.
4. our neighbour from building (in addition to the new house which he is building next door, he is now also extending the 3rd storey of his current house which is situated at our back, taking away even more of our privacy as well as the last six inches of sunlight that were left in our courtyard).

I want those things for you dear Anairam...I have been thinking of those things as well- your neighbors house (sigh) there should be neghborhood agreements, laws, to prevent that sort of inconsiderate building. I guess the best thing I can offer is for you to get stuck into art- yours is fabulous and your brain remarkable. Try to keep your wonderful sense of humour- you are a delight!
That is a great journal page-it is so good to get your feelings down on paper. I love the way you have illustrated your anxiety and hope it helps get rid of some of it. I feel sorry for you having such a selfish neighbour.
Sorry about your neighbour but your art journal is impressive as ever!!!
Anairam dearest, I am so sorry! That you are tossing at night (we should hold parties for insomniacs at 3 in the morning), that people have taken advantage, and that I cannot fathom how selfish your neighbour is being. I've just sworn in public & print over at Linda Sue's (almost never happens) and I'm tempted to do the same here. Just boiling at the moment with the injustice of stuff. I feel like standing on a mountain and shouting STOP!!! (with you and for you) at the top of my lungs! Instead I'll just tell you that I LOVE your white pen journal pages and that I'm thinking of you... xx
You express your anxieties so beautifully!
2am seems to be my wake up and worry time! Fortunately not all the time, - it comes in patches!
PS - Maybe you've seen this already, but when I saw these re-purposed toilet rolls - I thought of you! And I mean that in the nicest possible way!

Hi Again!
I would love to see your own tiny faces in your journal!
Have a lovely weekend,
Sarah :)
oh no!!! I want to stop your neighbor too! I'm sorry.
what's next? world domination?
Thanks for the supportive messages, all! Next time I'm tossing and turning I'll get up, switch on the laptop and visit some of my fellow sufferers!
PS Denise - thanks for that link - amazing little sculptures! I tried two of my own, unfortunately they do not look as good!
Good gracious, I use way too many exclamation marks. I'll try and tone it down ....
