... the beauty of doing the dishes ...

For the past ten days, when I do the dishes ...

I let my eyes travel upwards ...

... until they reach the jesse breytenbach print I got myself for xmas (from here ), and which I love with a passion ...

... and that is the beauty of doing the dishes.

due to my current reading material, i am very very drawn to that wonderful sponge (so nearly square), and the wonderful soap/sponge holder, and the shape of your graceful faucet...

Isn't La Blogeuse well trained!

Clap, clap, clap.

Le 'usband takes a bow ...

I think Le'usband could be swapped for a shiny dishwasher??
Or perhaps he is busy collecting hay for that pony of Svetlana (who has lost the plot, I think).
Noup is also on my list! Perhaps we can VISIt it together. Samara in the Karoo looks wonderful too.

I have some of Jesse's Prints too! They are a delight. She has such a lovely way of understanding and depicting human nature!

up and down town - It sounds like an interesting book! Is that the one you showed on your into construction blog?

le 'Usband - Mmmmm. Of course, with more artworks, I will wash more dishes. Faster. And cleaner.

Anonymous - What a good idea - both the swap and the Noup VISIt! We must do it, maybe using your Landie? (BTW, Samara will have to wait - is way beyond our budget ...)

Freshly Found - I SO enjoy them - I also got myself her Poison print - I think they are so clever!

kendalee - I am so glad I saw them, and got them, and framed them! They really look good on the wall. I still want to get her graphic novel - Exclusive Books is sold out but I am going to have a squizz at Book Lounge - they should have a copy left ...

sunmamma - Yes, they are right up my street - beautifully drawn and clever!

I am in love with your soap holder thing..and I am afraid that nothing other than seeing some body else do the dishes would make it a more pleasant task, though the print is fabulous- thanks for the link- another fave!!!

linda sue - I am intrigued by your and up and down town's comments on the soap holder thing! Do you not have them in the US? I suppose it is a bit old-fashioned, but most kitchens and bathrooms have them here! I must look at my soapholder thngie with new eyes, it seems!

I do not know this Anonymouse person but I do think they are confuse. And can get me in the trouble. In Russia it is very dangerous to have a plot because we have Security of State people who can arrest me. So let me say I never have the plot.
