Here are two pages that I've started on. They might change.
Created late last night. We can see the lights of Simonstown in the distance from our living room windows. Simonstown is hardly a city, but it still looks magical ...
LIFE - Admit One.
It is not finished yet. I want to add arrows and an Exit sign.
(Also created late last night and inspired by Linda Sue's gift - here.)

Sweet pages! Love your brain! I am very nearly finished with the little bit of nonsense that I started. About four pages left.I love your little city at night...I think that I see me peeking out of of those windows waving at you...
I like watching these as they evolve and are posted.
On an unrelated side note, hang in there. It sounds like you have some stressful things going on ... I hope things take a turn for the better soon.
Take care.
linda sue - Oh, thank you - at least the brain has started working again, slowly, but surely! The grey cloud is dissolving bit by bit as the creative sparks start to fly ... Well, not quite FLY, but I remain optimistic! Oh, please post more of your pages? They are so lovely! - how many are you doing for your friend?
stephanie - Thank you - I think things were just adding up a bit and I felt it! But, as always, time to think about it changes one's perception. It is good to meditate on the transient nature of everything, even something like a view from one's window! And the canned project - fie, I say. Probably a good thing it was cancelled as it was bound to have caused me major frustration (same Nighmare Publishing Company as before) and at least now I am free to accept other projects, even if they are smaller.
Love these! The one about the magical night city is especially great. Looking forward to seeing them develop...
kendalee - I am also interested to see what will happen with them (if anything). At the moment I'm working on my little 100 ideas journal - I love how it opens me up to seeing in a new way - but I spend very little time on a page and sometimes only do a new idea every two or three weeks. Maybe I'll post about the 100 ideas journal sometime.
these are marvelous - i LOVE the hand lettering in the top set... wow... and i adore your glass gem magnets in the above post - those are so fun to make and unbelievably addictive!
aimee - Kind words - thank you so much! Let's just say that I consider you to be the Queen of Lettering - I absolutely love your lettered pages, and they are a great inspiration to me - When I saw them the very first time I thought "When I grow up, I want to write like THAT!"
beautiful.
I hope you will still be able to see the magical lights of Simon'stad' after the neighbours built their house.
