Little List Report-back

Okay, so one has a Little List. And then things happen. Like you get sick. And it rains for a week. I'm not trying to make excuses, I'm just saying.
1. I got the balloon! (A red one, albeit foil. I would have preferred a proper balloon of course, but they didn't do those in helium. Oh well. They pumped my red foil bag full of gas, so that is okay. And it's now a week later, and it is still stuck to my ceiling in all its glorious heliumness). Here it is.

But it has not been released yet. (See first paragraph.)

2. The poster project kind of morphed into something else. Based on my admiration for Jacques's beautiful handmade giftwrap, I made a different poster. I used an old sheet of wrapping paper (beautifully printed in black on light cream matt paper) and proceeded to colour it in with my watercolour pencils. I had fun. I am calling it The Bluebird of Happiness. I've left the other half unpainted so you can see.

They're both pretty cool, don't you think? I am going to cut it in half, frame both pieces, and hang them together.
3. Vegetarian recipe. Yes well. I didn't go shopping this week. (See first paragraph.) I did find this in a local magazine though.

It sounds exactly like macaroni cheese to me. Except they use potatoes. But it could be nice, I will probably make it next week.

New list: I know it's supposed to be a Little List of Three Things, but I'm putting only two items on my list this week - I still have leftovers from last week to finish ...
  1. I want to do something for someone I don't know. I am not sure how and where, but I do not want to plan it . Something will come up in the course of the week and I will know to act. I hope.
  2. I have been inspired by Vintage Heaven, Le Divan Fumoir Bohemian and ZigZag Bunting to make lovely bunting.

I will not finish it in a week, but I plan to get started!
Ongoing projects:
  1. 100 ideas - I made three entries this week. I had fun with # 43 - Recall your favourite childhood game. Does anyone remember Zoom Zoom Zoom, I'm Jacqueline?
  2. Guerilla Art Project: The artwork has been created. And recorded. It has not been placed yet, alas. (See first paragraph.)
Have a lovely, lovely weekend, darlings. Have fun, or be peaceful or be creative. Better still, all three! x Anairam

stephanie - Yep, and it all started with you! I also unearthed from the garage my copy of The Red Balloon - a little book with images from the original film by Albert Lamorisse. I am releasing my balloon today - the skies are (finally) blue! I will record the release. I am hoping for A Great Revolt of the Balloons - like in the movie!

AND HOW ABOUT A BALLOON WITH BUNTING AND A LITTLE BAG FILLED WITH SEEDS SO THAT WHEN THE BALLOON POPS (AS THEY ALL DO) SEEDS WILL BE SCATTERED
FOR BIRDS
OR TO GROW
INTO A FIELD OF GREEN
