Love is in the Air ... and on the Fridge

I was so inspired by My Castle in Spain's beautiful Valentine's cards that I have decided to create only love-inspired objects between now and Valentine's Day, and just fill the house with love and hearts!

Fridge magnets I made from glass pebbles. Super simple. These are just prototypes, I'll make some more & finish them off a bit more carefully.

A new (and unfinished) journal page called Love Birds. Or to be more exact: LOVE BIRDS. (I am recycling some of my Xmas tree ornaments.)

I do so enjoy seeing your journal pages unfold and develop Anairam!

And I love your decision to turn your talents to all things love-inspired and fill your house with them. I hope you're going to share some of these lovely love projects with us?

How sweet! and just what we need in the middle of winter, colds, coughing, wheezing , sneezing- not very loveable, really, but you manage to brighten the day, bring some love...The bird page is wonderful- you are my mentor, my guiding light! Someday I will get the hang of journal pages- not there yet... too much in a hurry, I think. Love the little blubs of Heart! BTW- I heart you!

Very cool stuff. How to make of simple things great projects?

These are gorgeous! I like the slightly rustic effect on the magnets, it suits. Each new sketchbook page is better than the last, I tells ya!

kendalee - I have a few ideas waiting to be executed! I must just remember to write them down, I am apt to forget ... Yes, I will photograph all my funny little projects - I am busy finiheing one off as we speak. Well, of course not right now as we speak. And also, we are not speaking. But I'm sure you know what I mean ...

linda sue - You are so sweet - I heart you too! And I heart (dang, what is that key combination to get a heart symbol?) your journal pages - they are lovely and I'm waiting to see the rest of them! (I'm always in a hurry about mine - although the basic idea takes some time to develop in my head. But once I've got it on the page, I'm not always in the mood to finish it off properly - I want to move on to new things!)

Khaled - Yes, my purpose, with all of the weird little projects that I do and post about now and then, is to use up & recycle stuff I already have. I do not want to buy new things in order to make something!

heather - I used my new favourite font (it is called 1942) to print the letters. (It is a free font and I've been looking for a nice typewriter-style font for ages!) I'm so happy you like my pages. I have lots of ideas, but the execution is not always as I'd like it. Maybe I should employ an artist and just tell them my idea and let them do a proper job of it!

Ooh, I love typewriter fonts (the only reason I bought a typewriter, as they weigh a tonne and are basically useless) but that's a good font, very realistic~

Bah, stuff never ever looks how it's supposed to. And at least you have ideas! That's the hardest part.
